The City of Heusenstamm is a community located south of Frankfurt am Main with approx. 20,000 residents. As part of the redesign of municipal Internet offerings, we optimized the website not only for use on mobile devices, but also expanded its features to meet the demands of transparency and participation: we thus developed a so-called City Information System, through which municipal employees can edit relevant information, responsibilities, and services of all departments. Additionally, the system enables residents to edit information and schedules of their associations on their own.
