Frankfurt School of Finance & Management
Corporate design and website for the UNEP Centre
Industry: Education & research
The Frankfurt School of Finance & Management is a private business school headquartered in Frankfurt am Main. Together with the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP), it set up the UNEP Collaborating Centre for Climate & Sustainable Energy Finance. For the Centre, we developed a corporate design that combines the requirements of both institutions and gets by on a few simple rules. We also built a website with a closed community for everyone involved in the programme, which most recently had more than 15,000 members. CMS users can also create and maintain websites of their own for individual projects.

Result
The corporate design rests on a few rules. It sets a fixed colour palette and a four-column grid, and its central design element is the square from the logo.
Blue stands for official publications, green for projects. The two colour ranges are never mixed. Warm grey is reserved for chapter introductions, legends and notes.
